Potomac Heights Elementary School kindergarten students planted a dogwood tree in front of the school in honor of Arbor Day on April 26. The tree was donated by the owners of Antietam Tree & Turf, Roger, Edith, Randy and Anita Finn. The Finns discussed the importance of planting trees and the proper technique for planting, and assisted the students in the planting. The Finns also presented each kindergarten student with a hard hat and an environmental bag filled with stickers, coloring books and planting instructions. Kindergarten students of Lura Norris and Jennifer White are shown with the Finns, in the back row, from left, Roger, Edith, Anita and Randy.
