Clayton Thomas Brunner, 31, of 10708 Oak Forest Drive in Hagerstown, Md., died Thursday, May 10, 2012, at his home.

Born Oct. 27, 1980, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Carl Edward and Carol Shober Brunner of Hagerstown.

He was a 1998 graduate of Williamsport High School. He was attending Allegany College of Maryland.

He loved music, snowboarding and cars.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a paternal grandmother, Marian Brunner of Hagerstown; four aunts, Holly Brunner and Amy Brunner, both of Hagerstown, and Cheryl Brunner and Eve Morris, both of Virginia; one uncle, Chris Brunner of Hagerstown; cousins, Christopher R. Brunner and his wife, Kelly, of Hagerstown, and Rebekah Hartt and her husband, Stephen, of Pennsylvania; a dear friend, Jessica Locke of West Virginia; and friend, Bert Callaham of Hagerstown.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Thomas and Norma Shober; and paternal grandfather, Carl Edwin Brunner.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at 7 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Tim Lester will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

There will be a gathering of friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

At the request of the family, donations in memory of Clayton may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
