Francis Lee Davis, 69, of Mercersburg, Pa., died Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at his home.
Born March 19, 1943, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of Jane Isabel Stevens Price, and the late stepfather, Wilbur Plummer Price.
He served in the U.S. Marines.
He was retired from Statton Furniture Co.
He was a member of North Side Mennonite Church.
He was an auto mechanic, and an avid model car builder.
He is survived by his wife, Segerna (Gernie) Davis; one son, Gary W. Davis of Hagerstown; two granddaughters, Tracy Sweeney and companion, Tommy Houpt, of Mercersburg, and Beth White and companion, Randy Hawbaker, of Fayetteville, Pa.; a special great-granddaughter, Brooke Sweeney, and great-grandsons, Garnett Hawbaker and Gavin Houpt; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at North Side Mennonite Church, 716 N. Locust St., Hagerstown. Pastor Gary Zook will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., and one-half hour prior to the service at the church.
