Perrin Nicole Wells, 38, of Hagerstown, died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore.

Born July 13, 1973, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Robert Wells and Donna (Kretzer) Wells of Hagerstown.

Perrin was a 1991 graduate of Park City High School, Park City, Utah.

She was an active member of St. John's Episcopal Church, where she was involved with the Daughters of the King and numerous other church committees. Perrin volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and was a victim's advocate for the Hagerstown City Police. She was president of Neighborhoods 1st in her local community. She loved spending time with her loving daughter, Maya.

Perrin worked as an administrative assistant for Larry and Sons in Hagerstown.

In addition to her mother, Donna Wells, she is survived by her daughter, Maya Jean Wells of Hagerstown; numerous aunts and uncles, including Brian and Kathryn Kretzer of Hagerstown; several cousins; extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harry and Alma Kretzer.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 101 S. Prospect St., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Ann Boyd officiating.

Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for her daughter, Maya Jean Wells, c/o Larry and Sons, 301 W. Franklin St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
