CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The Freedom Valley Chorus of Sweet Adelines International will hold an afternoon tea fundraiser titled “A Spoonful of Musical-i-TEA,” on Saturday,  June 9, at noon at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 750 Norland Ave., Chambersburg.

Audience members will be treated to a full four-course afternoon tea, served on antique china, and harmonies provided by the a capella chorus.

In addition, there will be a Chinese auction of goody baskets to add to the fundraising effort. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to Breast Cancer Awareness — Cumberland Valley.

Audience members will also have the opportunity to make an additional donation at the door with 100 percent of it going to BCA — Cumberland Valley.

Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased in two ways. Individuals can purchase tickets or a table for eight is available. Purchasing a table will ensure that the places are reserved and that the group will be seated together. There is a limited seating. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be sold at the door.
