Springfield Middle School to hold spring celebration

Springfield Middle School will hold its Spring Celebration on Thursday, May 10, from 2:45 to 8 p.m.

Parents, students and the community are invited to participate. 

There will be many interesting activities during the day, including: 

  •  English Language Arts student-led conferences will begin at 2:45 p.m. 
  •  Scholastic book fair will be open and items will be available for purchase until 8 p.m. 
  •  Several colleges will be present to answer questions and have information available for those interested. 
  •  Performing arts students will perform and have an awards program at 6 p.m., during which time “Riversong” students will perform. 
  •  An Olweus (Bullying) presentation will take place in the Media Center Computer Lab at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., with a chance to win a gift card. You must be present to win.
  •  Antietam Dairy will be available for ice-cream purchases
  •  Popcorn, face-painting, and balloons will be available and free to all students. 
 There will be many other displays and activities occurring during the day.
