1. In celebration of the month of May

Shepherdstown May Day will be Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6, in downtown Shepherdstown, W.Va. A traditional British-style celebration of May with costumes and dancing. Saturday's highlights include Morris dancing on King Street at 5 p.m., contra dancing with English Ceilidh band Frog Hammer at War Memorial Building and a moonlight Maypole weave. Sunday's highlights include parade down German Street to a Maypole on McMurran lawn at 1 p.m., May revelry on McMurran lawn at 1:30 p.m. Free. Call 304-263-2531 or go to www.smad.us.



2. Rambling through

More than 20 museums and historic sites throughout Washington County will be open free of charge and have special exhibits or programs for Washington County Museum Ramble Ramble is Saturday, May 5, and Sunday, May 6. 3. A Ham-dinger of a time

Great Hagerstown Hamfest will be from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Washington County Agricultural Education Center, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, south of Hagerstown. Vendors, electronics flea market, amateur radio speakers, door prizes. Volunteer examiner exams at 1 p.m. Food sold. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Antietam Radio Association. $5; free for ages 12 and younger. Call 301-791-5841.



4. Camaro, Firebird  on display

All Camaro and Firebird Show will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Buffalo Wild Wings, 796 Foxcroft Ave., Martinsburg, W.Va.The show will benefit Friends Fur Life, a no-kill animal shelter and rescue based in Berkeley Springs, W.Va. The Veteran1 Camaro, below, will be on display and is being auctioned off. $10 registration fee. Goodie bags and dash plaques to the first people registered. Go to www.easternpanhandlecamaro.com.



5. Images captured

Members of Jefferson County Photography Club will display photographs during the two-week run of the play "Fox on the Fairway." The exhibit will be available before each showtime and during the play's intermission on Saturdays, May 5 and 12; Sundays, May 6 and 13; and Friday, May 11.
