Mrs. Janice Maude (Burral) Sellers, 70, of Hagerstown, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on April 27, 2012.

She is survived by her husband, Preston L. Sellers Jr. They were married May 24, 1959.

Born Nov. 21, 1941, in Mercersburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late George W. Burral (Thelma Hoke) and Helen Hose (Lewis J. Hose Jr.)

She graduated from Hernando High, Brooksville, Fla.

She held the title of CNA, was formerly employed at Turner’s Taxi, and the jobs she enjoyed the most were being a wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.

Surviving are two sons, Preston L. Sellers III and Steven L. Sellers, wife Jenny, of Hagerstown; two daughters, Janice Marie Sellers of Hagerstown and Diane K. Sellers Diaz-Flores of Brooksville, husband, Juan; brothers, George W. Burral Jr. of Boonsboro, David W. Burral of Smithsburg, Lewis J. Hose III of Waynesboro, Pa., and Harry M. Hose of Hagerstown; sisters, Sherry L. Cordell of Mercersburg, Pa., Phyllis I. Lopez of Jacksonville, Fla., Rhetha H. Kidwiler of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., Lois J. Fraker of Three Springs, Pa., and Ella L. Quinn, Darlene J. Adams, Arlene J. Davis and Thelma J. Burral-Banzhoff, all of Hagerstown; 16 grandchildren, Edwin, Michael, Anthony, Miguel, Preston IV, Patrick, Christopher, Samuel, Donald, Jay-Jay, Cheyenne, Nina, Tiffany, Katrina, Sasha and Sky; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; one uncle, George L. Gerhold of West Virginia; and one aunt, Beatrice R. Gerhold-Marquez of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her faithful canine companions, Lady and Penny.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Yolanda R. Sellers; and one sister, Alice F. Devore.

Memorial services will be today at 2 p.m. at Maranatha Brethren Church, Jefferson Boulevard, Hagerstown.
