Visitors bureau steps up to help with convention

This weekend I have the honor to be co-chairwoman of the state convention for Alpha Delta Kappa, an International Educational Women’s Sorority, which will be held at the Ramada Plaza Hotel.

To make things official and welcoming, I contacted the Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

I received outstanding support and wanted to let everyone know how fortunate we are to have these services availabe.

Tom Riford, president and chief executive officer, agreed to welcome the group.

Betsy, Charissa, and their staff created a news  release and a banner and provided welcome bags.

I feel very fortunate to live in Washington County where people still go out of their way to make visitors feel welcome.
