Elizabeth Virginia Goggin-Bartles, 90, of Falling Waters, W.Va., passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Williamsport Retirement Center, Williamsport, Md.

She was born Nov. 1, 1921, in Keyser, W.Va., to the late Roy Alston and Homa Margaret Male Combs.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Julian B. Goggin, on April 26, 1984, and her second husband, George W. Bartles, Dec. 22, 2004.

She was a minister at Pasadena Assembly of God, Pasadena, Md., until her retirement.

She was a member of Pasadena Assembly of God, Pasadena, and Marlowe Assembly of God, Falling Waters, W.Va.

Survivors include daughter, Judith Cooper and her husband, Joseph, of Lexington, S.C.; daughter, Kathryn Wireback and her husband, Herbert, of New Paris, Pa.; son, Samuel Goggin and his wife, Mike, of Athens, Ga.; sister, Patricia Miller of Hagerstown, Md.; sister, Mary Combs, her caregiver for several years, of Falling Waters; brother, John Combs of Cumberland, Md.; brother, James Combs of Cumberland; grandchildren, Paul, Jeanna, Jonathon, Joel, Tammi, Brian, Andrea and Amy; great-grandchildren, Sable, Matthew, Abbey, John, David, Christopher, Brian, Zachery, Morgan, Joshua, Emma, Sarah, Isaac and Isaiah.

She was predeceased by one son, Paul Goggin; two sisters, Bernadine Smith and Dorothy Walker; and two brothers, Roy Combs and Richard Combs.

The family will receive friends at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.. The funeral home will be open after 1 p.m. Tuesday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Potomac Park Camp, Falling Waters, at 10 a.m. with Pastor James Lloyd, Pastor Phil Foster and Pastor Ken Burtram officiating. 

Graveside services will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Burnie, Md., on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at 2:30 p.m.
