Dorris Elleene Webber Proctor, 84, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born Thursday, June 30, 1927, in Knoxville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Estley Leo Webber and Emma Lovetta Cooper Webber.

She attended Brunswick High School.

She was a member of New Beginnings Community Church, Elks Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Post 211 Ladies Auxiliary.

She was a devoted wife and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved the outdoors, gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James E. Proctor; daughters, Holly Tosadori and husband, Anthony, of Smithsburg, Md., and Karen Williamson and husband, Terry, of Hagerstown; sister, Adelaide Bower; brother, Curtis Webber; grandchildren, Jay Hunt, Evan Hunt, Sean Hunt, Amanda Williamson and Forrest Williamson; three great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Snoots; and brother, Irvin Cooper.

Services will be Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd., Hagerstown, with Pastor Mark Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 24, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
