The passenger who was riding in a tractor-trailer that plunged down a 60-foot embankment Thursday morning near the Md. 65 off-ramp from Interstate 70 east has been released from a Baltimore hospital, Maryland State Police said Friday.
William J. Taylor, 27, of Sharpsville, Pa., was released from R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, police said.
Troopers did not know the status of the driver of the vehicle, Richard M. McKinney, 57, also of Sharpsville.
McKinney is Taylor’s father.
McKinney and Taylor were flown by helicopter to shock trauma after being freed from the vehicle.
