Firefighters responded Wednesday night to a fire smoldering on a deck on a building at 181 South Prospect St. in Hagerstown, according to a Washington County 911 dispatcher.
Hagerstown Fire Department firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, which was reported at 8:02 p.m., the dispatcher said.
