MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A Bunker Hill, W.Va. man faces charges in connection with a Sunday night incident in which police allege a man entered a Martinsburg house and fired a gun into the floor.

Justin W. Willingham, 20, was charged with six counts of wanton endangerment, burglary, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, and obstructing an officer, the Martinsburg Police Department said in a press release.

At about 9:26 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired in the 1400 block of New York Avenue, the release said.

Officers found Willingham in a vehicle they stopped a few blocks from the scene and took him into custody after a short struggle, police said. A search of the vehicle revealed a .45-caliber handgun in the passenger compartment and several spent shell casings, police said.

There were six people in the house when the shooting happened, and no one was injured, police said.
