Loreena "Kay" Tinneny, 62, of Philadelphia, Pa., died Friday, March 30, 2012, at Fairview Care Center, Philadelphia, from complications of liver cancer.

Mrs. Tinneny was born in Monongahela, Pa., the daughter of the late Phil and Betty Lou (Simpson) Dombrowsky.

Kay lived her adolescent years in the Monongahela area and moved to Fulton County, Pa., with her family in the mid-'60s. She graduated from Southern Fulton High School, York Business College and York College. Kay worked for many years with Griest, Himes and Gettle in York, Pa., before moving to Philadelphia in 1994. While living in Philadelphia, she was employed by Morgan, Lewis & Bockius attorneys, and most recently by the Hogan Lovells attorney firm.

Kay is survived by her husband, Paul; five stepsons; and nine step-grandchildren, all of Philadelphia. She is also survived by her brother, David, and his wife, Linda; and her nieces, Kris Mulka and Rachel Wingert, all of Greencastle, Pa.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her grandparents, David and Catherine Simpson, and Frank and Lillian Dombrowsky. Kay was also predeceased by her first husband, Russell Griest.

A celebration of Kay's life will be held Thursday, April 12, at 11 a.m. at her church, St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 3025 Church Road, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444. Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the above church to benefit bell tower restoration. Funeral arrangements are by Lownes Funeral Home of Lafayette Hill.
