MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Jared Snow threw a one-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts to lead Martinsburg to a 5-0 win over Jefferson on Tuesday.
Snow, Curtis Miller and Deryk Shrout each had two hits and Nate Temple drove in two runs for the Bulldogs.

Schultz picks up win
PHOENIX, Md. — Beaver Creek Country Club pro Dirk Schultz teamed with Hampshire Greens Golf Club pro Bobby Ashton to win the PGA Middle Atlantic Section Two-Player Scramble.
Schultz and Ashton went through 27 holes at 12 under par at the Hunt Valley Golf Club.

BRIEF
Funkstown Legion baseball registration and tryouts
The Funkstown Legion baseball program will be holding registration for its 19U and 17U teams on April 15 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Legion Post in Funkstown, located at 12 N. Westside Ave. Players who attend any Washington County high school are eligible. Players should provide a copy of their birth certificate.
