Man wearing camo jacket, pajama bottoms leads police on foot chase

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — A Martinsburg man dressed in a camouflage jacket and plaid pajama bottoms was charged after he led police on a foot chase following a traffic stop early Tuesday in the area of West King Street and Winchester Avenue, the Martinsburg Police Department said.

Timothy Lane Kelley, 27, of 609 Virginia Ave., was charged with fleeing, driving under the influence and other traffic counts, according to a police department news release.

Police said they pulled over a Jeep Cherokee that Kelley was driving after it made an improper left turn at about 3:30 a.m. in the area of West King Street and Winchester Avenue.

Officers allege Kelley fled on foot and was found near South Street and West Virginia Avenue.

Kelley was taken to Eastern Regional Jail, the release said.
