Blanche G. Eissner, 94, of Hagerstown, died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center.
Born Sept. 12, 1917, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Cecil B. and Flossie (Ambrose) Ridenour.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Earl W. Eissner, on Oct. 28, 2009.
She was a 1935 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
She retired from H.L. Mills Inc. after 24 years.
She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church.
She was a member of Ladies of the Elks Lodge 378. She was past president of Hagerstown Business and Professional Women’s Club.
Blanche was the last member of her immediate family.
She is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Alice Fox, Gladys Link and Helen Grandstaff; and one brother, George E. Ridenour.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Renee Mackey and the Rev. Blaine E. Feightner will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday one hour before the service at the funeral home.
