Morning MoJo report - April 2

Here is the Morning MoJo Report for Monday, April 2:

* As of 7 a.m., traffic on I-495 in both directions and on I-270 southbound was a little sluggish, but was running fine on all the other interstates throughout the area.

* There are minor delays on the MARC Train, according to the Maryland Transit Administration's website, http://mta.maryland.gov/. Penn Line Train 505 is disabled in Perryville, and Train 407 (5:40 a.m. Baltimore Departure) is expected to operate one hour late. On the Brunswick Line, all trains will board passengers on the opposite track at the Brunswick station only.

* There is a 20 minute service delay on the light rail Light Rail to all stations south from North Avenue to Cromwell and BWI, according to the Maryland Transit Administration's website, http://mta.maryland.gov/.

* The Commuter Buses, local bus services, the Metro Subway system, and the Mobility service are all running on time and operating on their regular schedules, according to the Maryland Transit Administration's website, website, http://mta.maryland.gov/.

* The weather today is expected to be sunny with a high near 61 degrees and wind between between 11 and 15 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight it is expected to be mostly clear with a low around 33 degrees, areas of frost after 2 a.m., and wind between 3 and 8 mph.

* The Longmeadow Road-Marsh Pike intersection is still undergoing an improvement project. Workers are assisting traffic when needed at the intersection.

* Only one lane of Md. 550 in Thurmont, Md., is open between Eylers Valley Flint Road and Kelbaugh Road due to a mudslide that occurred last April. However, it could reopen by June.
