Potomac Audubon Society hosts Wee Naturalists program in April

April 02, 2012

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. — The Potomac Audubon Society’s April Wee Naturalists program sessions are from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, and Thursday, April 26, at the Yankauer Nature Preserve.

The theme of both sessions is: “What Do April Showers Bring?” Participating children will explore the preserve’s trails, looking for changes in nature brought about by spring rains.

The program is for children ages 3 to 5 to explore nature under the guidance of an instructor. At each session, children must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent, other adult relative, or guardian.

Enrollment is limited and registration is required. Go to www.potomacaudubon.org. The cost is $5 per child/adult team per session.
