The following 2011-12 budget requests by members of the Berkeley County delegation to the West Virginia House of Delegates were approved for funding, according to the House Finance Committee:
Del. John Overington, R-Berkeley
- Bedington Volunteer Fire Department — $3,500 for new firefighter gear
- Literacy Volunteers of the Eastern Panhandle — $1,000 for support and training
- Berkeley County Humane Society — $10,000 for installation of walk-in freezer/shelving, freezer purchase, etc.
- Potomack Intermediate School — $8,000 to transition 20 classrooms to interactive whiteboards
- Spring Mills Middle School — $3,250 for Veterans Day program
- Martinsburg North Middle School — $1,750 to purchase five e-readers, 10 protective cases and one iPad
- Marlowe Elementary School — $3,000 for technology equipment
- Spring Mills Primary School — $2,000 for student gardening projects
- Berkeley County Senior Services — $10,000 for various projects
Del. Larry Kump, R-Berkeley/Morgan
- North Berkeley Public Library — $3,500 for supplemental operations and to improve programs
- Berkeley County Commission — $12,500 for public safety building
- Berkeley County Commission — $3,500 for law enforcement project improvements
- Berkeley County Senior Services — $10,000 for various projects
Del. Walter Duke, R-Berkeley
- City of Martinsburg — $3,500 for Martinsburg Fire Department to purchase thermal imagers
- Hedgesville Public Library — $3,500 to build a new handicap-accessible library
- City of Martinsburg — $1,500 for thermal imagers
- Ambrose Park — $14,500 to replace existing pavilion and renovate restroom
- Berkeley County Schools — $18,000 to purchase 35 iPads for middle school students in reading/language arts and social studies classrooms
- Berkeley County Senior Services — $10,000 for various projects
