Ella Mae Fischer, 79, of Cedar Ridge Road, Pinesburg,  passed away Monday, March 26, 2012, at her home.

Born May 17, 1932, in Pinesburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Beulah Naomi Catherine Hull Tabler.

She was a graduate of Williamsport High School.

She had been employed at various times by Mount Calvary Day Care, Washington County Board of Education, Williamsport Nursing Home and Bloyer’s Restaurant. 

She was a member of Mount Calvary Church of God, Clear Spring.

She is survived by three sons, George H. Fischer Jr. and his wife, Jacqueline, of Clear Spring, Glennwood L. Fischer and his wife, Sandra, of Clear Spring, and Jonathan C. Tabler of Pinesburg; and one daughter, Laura M. Gibson of Pinesburg. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one brother, Arnold C. Tabler, and one sister, Betty J. Banzhoff.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 30, 2012, at 6 p.m. at Mount Calvary Church of God, Clear Spring. Pastor Leon Powell will conduct the service. Burial will follow cremation at the convenience of the family.
