The Powell Team consisting of Steven L. Powell, Stephenie Rinehart, Linda Hansen and Steve Souders qualified for the RE/MAX Platinum Club Award for 2011. Only 4 percent of the RE/MAX network achieved the award.

The Jen-esis Communications Inc. board of directors announces the promotion of Jennifer L. Spivey to acting president of Jen-esis Communications Inc.

Spivey began her career with Jen-esis Communications in May 2011 as the executive assistant to the president and was immediately promoted to chief administrative officer. Her rise in the company is attributed to her long involvement in, knowledge of and influence on the business once run by her father, Kervin Spivey.

Spivey is a graduate of Western Carolina University. Her background includes teaching, leadership coaching and organizational expertise.

She and her family live in Hagerstown.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Chambersburg Massage Therapy Clinic welcomes Jessica Geisel back to its staff of skin-care and massage professionals.

Geisel is a licensed esthetician and a graduate of DeRielle Designworks Academy in Mechanicsburg, Pa., where she specialized in esthetics and professional makeup artistry. She then pursued continuing education at the International Dermal Institute, where she became certified as dermalogica skin-care professional.

She worked most recently as a sales consultant and trainer for the professional European skin care lines Biodroga Institut, Sans Soucis and Essensa Organics.
