Carol Ann Hancock, 64, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center.
Born Dec. 17, 1947, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Dorothy L. (Plantz) Haberbeck and the late John W. Haberbeck.
She graduated from North Hagerstown High School, Class of 1965, and was also a graduate of Award Beauty School.
She had been employed over the years by Rocco’s, Kmart and Ron’s Deli.
She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church of Hagerstown.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 45 years, Vernon Lee Hancock of Hagerstown; sons, Vernon Lee Hancock Jr. and companion Sue Dauphine and John Keith Hancock and fiancé Stacie Reys; granddaughter, Mikayla R. Hancock; and grandson, Brayden Keith Hancock, all of Carson City, Nev.
She was preceded in death by one brother, John Haberbeck Jr.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
