Morning MoJo report - March 20

Here is the Morning MoJo Report for Monday, March 20:

* As of 7 a.m., traffic on I-495 in both directions and I-270 southbound was moving slowly, but was running fine on all the other interstates throughout the area.

* The MARC Train, Light Rail service, Commuter Buses, local bus services, the Metro Subway system, and the Mobility service were all running on time and operating on their regular schedules, according to the Maryland Transit Administration's website, http://mta.maryland.gov/.

*The weather today is expected to be mostly cloudy with a high of 73 degrees and fog before 10 a.m., a chance of isolated showers between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. with a 30 percent chance of precipitation and wind between 4 and 7 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight's expected low is 54 degrees with a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7 p.m., then a slight chance of showers before 7 p.m. and 2 a.m., patchy fog after 2 a.m., and a 30 percent chance of precipitation with wind around 5 mph.

* The Longmeadow Road-Marsh Pike intersection is still undergoing an improvement project. Workers are assisting traffic when needed at the intersection.

* Work to expand the intersection of Massey Boulevard and Halfway Boulevard near Hagerstown is mostly complete, but minor work still needs to be done in the area.

* Only one lane of Md. 550 in Thurmont, Md., is open between Eylers Valley Flint Road and Kelbaugh Road due to a mudslide that occurred last April. However, it could reopen by June.
