Dinner theater benefits animal shelter

March 14, 2012

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter will present a Murder Mystery Event on Saturday, March 24, at 6 p.m. at Orchard’s Restaurant in Chambersburg.

Everyone in the audience will get the chance to enjoy a meal and participate in a theatrical production, where they’ll help solve a murder. A variety of casino games will be available as a way to gain clues for the case.

Dinner options at the event include petite prime rib, grilled chicken breast with marsala or grilled vegetable napoleon. A cash bar will be provided.

Throughout the night, guests will also have an opportunity to bid on items in a silent auction.

Tickets for the Murder Mystery Event cost $100 per person. Proceeds benefit the CVAS Rallying to Relocate capital campaign, as the organization prepares to move the shelter from its current location on Country Road in Chambersburg to a new site at Kenny Gardens, near Letterkenny Army Depot.
