Tebow, O’Brien among those participating in Chick-fil-A Leadercast

A Chick-fil-A Leadercast will be Friday, May 4, at Bridge of Life church, 14 S. Potomac St. in Hagerstown.

The leadership event features several renowned leaders speaking from Atlanta on leadership issues.

Confirmed speakers are Soledad O’Brien, anchor and special correspondent for CNN; Tim Tebow, NFL quarterback, Heisman Trophy winner and best-selling author; Patrick Lencioni, best-selling author and president of The Table Group; Marcus Buckingham, strenght strategist, best-selling author and researcher; John Maxwell, leadership expert and best-selling author of “The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership”; Angela Ahrendts, chief executive officer of Burberry; Roland Fryer, professor of economics at Harvard University and chief executive officer of the Education Innovation Laboratory; Urban Meyer, head football coach for Ohio State University; Andy Stanley, best-selling leadership author and communicator; and Sheena Iyengar, author of “The Art of Choosing.”

Tickets purchased before April 15 cost $69 each or $59 for groups of three or more. After April 15, all tickets cost $79.

Spanish classes to be offered

International Corporate Training & Marketing is offering Spanish classes in Greencastle, Pa., and Martinsburg, W.Va., for those who serve Hispanic customers.

The 16-hour program costs $339, which includes a manual, audio CD and CD-ROM.

There will be no grammar to learn, and no prior Spanish training is necessary.

The course will be given at the Greencastle Chamber of Commerce, 217 E. Baltimore St., Wednesdays, March 28 to May 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; and at the Newberry Executive Center, 142 N. Queen St. in Martinsburg, Thursdays, March 29 to May 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
