Linda Williams, promoter of the Kris Kringle Craft Show, presented a check for $9,000 to Karen Bromley, Children’s Village board of directors president, and Rochelle Morrell, Children’s Village executive director.
The proceeds were from the 28th annual holiday craft show last fall at Hagerstown Community College.
This year’s show is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 17, and Sunday, Nov. 18, at HCC.
Each year, the craft show organizers pick a different charity to receive the proceeds.
Proceeds from this year’s show will be given to Easter Seals Adult Day Services of Hagerstown, which provides services to assist veterans, seniors and adults with a variety of health problems, including physical disabilities, depression and Alzheimer’s desease.
The program can help prevent premature nursing home placement, and provides social, medical, recreational, rehabilitative, educational and group activities, as well as health screenings.
