Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Michael S. Crunkleton, son of Steven and Sarah Crunkleton of Cascade, graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

Crunkleton is a 2006 graduate of Smithsburg High School.
