FREDERICK, Md. — The Frederick County Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee is hosting its annual resource fair, Make It Happen!, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Rock Creek School, 191 Waverley Drive in Frederick.
Make It Happen! is an informational fair with resource vendors as well as opportunities for parents and community members to attend workshops including making school skills less frustrating for children with autism; self determination; how does vision affect learning; and conflict resolution.
Vendors will be available to answer questions and provide information on services available to families in the area of therapies, recreation opportunities, camps, therapeutic equipment, legal and financial services, support groups and more.
The ARC of Frederick County will provide a Sibshop for siblings of children with special needs.
