Edward “Jiggy” Baker, 63, of Williamsport, Md., passed away Friday, March 2, 2012, at Western Maryland Hospital Center in Hagerstown, Md.
Born March 31, 1948, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Betty M. Mellott Baker of Williamsport and the late David A. Baker.
Jiggy retired from W.D. Byron Tannery in Williamsport, and was a member of Funkstown Rod and Gun Club and Conococheague Tribe 84 Improved Order of Red Men of Williamsport.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rosalie M. Rowland Baker; three sons, David A. Baker of Hagerstown, Edward A. Baker Jr. and his wife, Heather, of Hagerstown, and James T. Baker of Williamsport; granddaughters, Sarah, Stephanie and Abigail; grandsons, Cody, Devin and Cole; two sisters, Barb Baker and Nancy “Petie” Byers; and three brothers, Howard “Boxer” Baker, David “Bo” Baker and Donnie Baker, all of Williamsport.
