A Hancock man faces 11 counts of third-degree sex offense and six counts of second-degree sex offense after he allegedly had sex with his 13-year-old daughter and fondled another 13-year-old girl, according to court records.

The man, who is not being identified to protect the identity of his daughter, was also charged with second-degree rape and two counts of continuing course of conduct involving sexual abuse of a minor, Washington County District Court records said.

Sgt. Shawn Tasker of the Hancock Police Department said he met with a woman and her daughter on Monday. The 13-year-old girl said the man had touched her “sexually” at least six times, Tasker said.
The incidents occurred at the man’s apartment, the  records said.

The man initially denied any sexual involvement with the girl but later admitted that he touched her, the records said.

The man also said he had touched his daughter and had sex with her, the records said.
