St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church is selling Easter eggs.
The church will sell peanut butter and coconut eggs. The eggs cost 75 cents each.
The deadline to place an order is March 18.

The church will call when the eggs are ready for pickup.
The church is at 1020 Maryland Ave., across from South End Shopping Center.
College and career night planned at South High
On Thursday, March 15, at South Hagerstown High School, Washington County Public Schools will provide its first districtwide college and career planning night titled “The Future Starts Now: College and Career Planning for K-12 Families.”
Doors will open at 6 p.m. The last session will end at 8:45 p.m.
The event will include information sessions on college planning, career cluster conversations with community members, computer exploration of college and career resources, and a panel discussion with parents of college students.

South High Sports Boosters to meet Monday, March 12
South Hagerstown High School’s Sports Boosters Club will meet Monday, March 12, at 7 p.m. in the school’s media center.
Girl Scouts presentation set at Discovery Station
Nancy Robinson will portray Juliet Lowe, the founder of Girl Scouts in America, Saturday at 2 p.m. at Discovery Station. Robinson will make her presentation in an original Girl Scouts uniform from 1912, which is the year Girl Scouts was formed.
An art display titled “Goldens in My Garden” will be held from March 30 to April 29 at the Mansion House Art Gallery, 501 Highland Way in Hagerstown City Park. A meet-the-artist event will be held Sunday, April 1, from 2 to 4 p.m.
The artist, Terry Lynn Shotton, is an abtract expressionist.
The hours are Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
The beeswax and oil paintings were inspired by two golden retrievers.

SHHS alumni to meet
The South Hagerstown High School Alumni Association will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. in the school’s media center.
Items to be discussed are the 2012 scholarships and the annual golf tournament scheduled for Thursday, June 14.
Any graduate of South High is welcome to attend.

Tuesday — Kim Tantillo, wife of Hagerstown Lion Bob Tantillo, will give a presentation on her visit to Israel.
The Elizabethtown East Chapter of Neighborhoods 1st will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Rocky’s Pizza next to City Hall on Potomac Street.
Basket, pottery and cash bingo to be held April 29
Tri-State Ravens Nest No. 12 will hold a baskets, pottery and cash bingo Sunday, April 29, at the Elks Lodge off Robinwood Drive in Hagerstown.
Doors open at 11 a.m., lunch will be served at noon and bingo starts at 1 p.m.
Tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Lunch is included in the price of the ticket.
There will be 10 basket prizes, 10 pottery prizes and 10 cash prizes. In addition, there will be raffles, tip jars, King Tuts and 50/50s.
Participants must be 18 years old to enter.
Baked goods and sodas will be available for purchase.
Bingo is sponsored by the Ravens Nest and proceeds benefit its scholarship fund.
