LUBBOCK, Texas —  Michael Patrick Spalding of Hagerstown was named to the dean’s honor list for the fall semester at Texas Tech University for maintaining a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.
Michael, a junior, is majoring in business in the Jerry S. Rawls College of Business Administration.
Michael graduated from South Hagerstown High School.
He is the son of Steve and Jill Spalding of Hagerstown.
ANNVILLE, Pa. — Aaron M. Mills of Clear Spring was elected to the Society of Phi Alpha Epsilon at Lebanon Valley College.
The society is the college’s honor society.  An induction ceremony will be held at the Lutz Auditorium of the Blair Music center Sunday, March 25.   
Mills has also been named to “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.”
The program was designed to recognize outstanding academic achievement and student leadership. 
In January, Aaron was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at the college. 
Aaron is a senior studying for his Bachelor of Science in biology.
He is a 2008 graduate of Clear Spring High School.     
Aaron is the son of Greg and Sandy Mills of Hagerstown.

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. —  Ryan W. Henderson of Hagerstown was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at the University of Mary Washington.
Henderson is a senior.

SALISBURY, Md. — Eight Washington County students recently graduated from Salisbury University.
Boonsboro-area residents include Kindra Casey, Bachelor of Fine Arts in art; Adam Muhtaseb, Bachelor of Arts in communication arts, summa cum laude; and Jordan Pitts, Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary studies.
Hagerstown-area residents include Julia Jensen, Masters of Social Work; Zachary Koontz, Bachelor of Science in information systems; Philip Smith, Bachelor of Science in computer science; and Katherine Zidek, Masters of Social Work.
Other area residents include Nicholas Connelly of Smithsburg, Bachelor of Arts in communication arts.

PHILADELPHIA — Alyssa Walker of Brunswick, Md., a junior nutrition student at La Salle University, was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester.

PHILADELPHIA  — The following area students were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at University of the Sciences:
MinJun Chen of Chambersburg, Pa., is a doctor of pharmacy student.
Elizabeth Matesa of Walkersville, Md., is a physician assistant studies student.
Megan Mohadjer Beromi of Mt. Airy, Md., is a chemistry student.

CRESSON, Pa. — LeLand Nereida Espinoza of Mercersburg, Pa., was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Mount Aloysius College.
