Elaine Ann Weller, 71, of Hancock, Md., died Friday, March 2, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Md.
Born Jan. 6, 1941, in Grazier, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Michael Walter and Anna Louise Kososki Golden.
She retired in 2003 from the Washington County Board of Education as an instructional assistant after 33 years.
She was a member of St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church in Hancock, Md.
She is survived by four daughters, Michelle McCarty and Margory Smith, both of Hagerstown, and Laura Robair Bivens and Cheryl Robair, both of Hancock; two sons, Michael Weller of St. Augustine, Fla., and Stephen Robair of Hedgesville, W.Va.; one sister, Dorothy Poffenberger of Hagerstown; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice J. Golden Hoffman in 1975, and Judy Golden at birth.
A service will be Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, 2 E. High St., Hancock. The Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.
