Anita Marie Saloom, 64, of Falling Waters, W.Va., went to be with her Savior on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, surrounded by her family at her home.

She was born Oct. 7, 1947, in Williamsport, Md., to the late Milford G. Anderson Jr. and Ruth A. Scott Anderson Whitman.

She was a 1965 graduate of Williamsport High School.

She was employed at Keeney’s Video and Larry Allen Photography of Hagerstown, Md.

She was a member of Valley Assembly of God Church, Hagerstown.

She loved collecting dolls, baking and gardening with her granddaughter.

She was married for 43 years to the love of her life, David M. Saloom of Falling Waters.

She is survived by son, David A. Saloom of Hagerstown; son, Matthew A. Saloom and his wife, Jennifer, of Martinsburg, W.Va.; stepfather, Glen C. Whitman of Halfway, Md.; father-in-law, David H. Saloom of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; mother-in-law, Angelina S. Saloom of Port St. Lucie; granddaughter, Ashleigh Ruth Saloom, Mimi’s Heart, of Martinsburg; sister, Shirley Sharp and her husband, Don, of Port Orange, Fla.; sister, Ava Mussolino of Hagerstown; and brother, Charles Anderson and his wife, Donna, of Hagerstown.

She was predeceased by one sister, Nancy Carpenter; one brother, James Anderson; and one brother-in-law, Donald Carpenter.

There will be no viewing.

A memorial service will be held at Valley Assembly of God on Thursday, March 1, 2012, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Robert Jones officiating. Burial will be private.
