FARMINGTON, Utah — Lt. Jennifer L. Daley, a Greencastle-Antrim (Pa.) High School graduate, has been named assistant patrol division commander of the Davis County Sheriff’s Office, she confirmed in an email.
Daley is the daughter of Lynda and Irvin Daley of Greencastle. She grew up in Coseytown, Pa., which is near the border of Maryland and Pennsylvania.
She is the first female patrol division lieutenant in the history of the agency, which was established in 1853, she confirmed in an email.
Before she was promoted from sargeant to lieutenant, Daley was the sheriff’s office liaison with Fruit Heights, a city that contracts with the sheriff’s office for law-enforcement services.
She has been with the sheriff’s office for 22 years.
In her new position, she will supervise the 50 full-and part-time deputies in her patrol division, and serve the residents the department protects.
