Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va. Lenten study will begin Sunday and continue on Sunday, April 8, at 9:30 a.m.  The topic will be A Journey in John’s Gospel. To register, call 304-267-4542.

Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, Sharpsburg, Wednesday Lenten service will be held at 7 p.m. The theme will be Woman with Bleeding.

Haven Lutheran Church, Wednesday in Lent, a guest speaker will discuss palliative care at 5:15 p.m., followed by soup and sandwiches at 6 p.m., and a Lenten service with the Holden Evening Prayer as the liturgy at 7 p.m. Contact the church at 301-733-5056, if you plan to attend.

St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., in-town Lenten worship at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Al Clipp will give the message.

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Lappans, opening of new fellowship center at 9 a.m. Sunday. The 9 a.m. Sunday services will be held in the center, and 7:45 and 11 a.m. services will be held in the church.

St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clear Spring, Lenten services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesdays through March 27. The Rev. Elaine Swinehart will lead a series of studies on the Meditations of Luther. A light meal will be served at 6 p.m., followed by the service at 6:45 p.m.

Tom’s Creek United Methodist Church, Lenten study, 24 Hours That Changed the World will be offered from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays for six weeks beginning Feb. 28. Call 410-756-9205.
