Audrey Leigh Ridenour, 77, of Hagerstown, Md., died after a long illness, Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born Jan. 28, 1935, in Fairfax Station, Va., Audrey was the daughter of the late Herbert Schley Barker and Ola Marie DeBusk Barker.

She delighted in a variety of interests. Despite her declining health, she was an excellent cook, and skilled in crocheting and knitting. She kept her mind active, with reading and studying the Bible, puzzles, board games and horticulture. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Harold Stanley Barker and Roger Aaron Barker; and a sister, Dorothy Dean Barker.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 30 Nottingham Road, Hagerstown. Reginald M. Mitchell will be officiating.
