Berkeley County convenience store robbed at knifepoint

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Police are looking for a man who robbed the Pikeside ROCS convenience store at 3013 Winchester Ave. south of Martinsburg at knifepoint Sunday evening.

The robber was described as a white male in his mid- to late 20s, 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 140 pounds, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Monday. He had a mustache and was wearing khaki pants and brown shoes when the robbery happened at about 6 p.m., police said.

The robber displayed a knife and demanded money. He then fled from the store, police said.
