Elizabeth L. Yeager, 88, of Chambersburg, Pa., passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at her daughter’s home.

She was born June 3, 1923, in Reed, Md., to Reuben and Katie Lehman.

She was the widow of the late Glenn A. Yeager Sr., who died Feb. 25, 2007.

She was a member of Pleasant View Mennonite Church.

She had worked at Sunnyway Foods for 15 years and Hamilton Heights School at one time.

She enjoyed quilting, and had quilted many quilts during her retirement.

She is survived by her four children, Helen (wife of Calvin) Martin of Marion, Pa., Wayne (husband of Susan) Yeager of Chambersburg, Glenn (husband of Vickie) Yeager Jr. of Mechanicsburg, Pa., and Jerry (husband of Sharon) Yeager of Dry Run, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Martin of Chambersburg; three brothers, Verne Lehman of Hagerstown, Adin Lehman of Chambersburg and David Lehman of Lancaster, Pa.; and a foster sister, Frances Arrowood of Chambersburg.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter; a brother, Preston Lehman; and an infant brother.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Pleasant View Mennonite Church, with Pastor J. Allen Lehman and Pastor Dale Martin officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant View Mennonite Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg, and Tuesday one hour before the service at the church.
