WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

FREDERICK, Md. — Alessandra Flores had 28 points, including two 3-pointers, and seven assists for Hagerstown in a loss to Frederick on Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Maryland JuCo tournament.

Katie Sprecher had 15 points and eight rebounds, Yolonda Pinkcett had 10 points, Kishia Jackson had two 3-pointers and Akatshi Osongo had eight rebounds for the Hawks (22-4).

Hagerstown trailed 43-39 at halftime before Frederick went on an 11-2 run to start the second half.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Saint James 95, Flint Hill 94
OAKTON, Va. — Obi Enechionyia had 31 points, 20 rebounds and eight blocks to lead Saint James to a double-overtime victory over Flint Hill in the Mid-Atlantic Conference.

His buzzer-beating 3-pointer in the first overtime period tied the game at 83-83 to extend the game.

Nnamdi Enechionyia had 24 points, eight rebounds and five blocks for the Saints (13-9, 6-5), while Fred Slater had 14 points and Avery Wilmore had 10 assists to go along with seven points in the victory.
Mo Berchie had 24 points for Flint Hill (12-14, 5-7).

WARFORDSBURG, Pa. — Damon Gordon had 17 points, seven rebounds, two assists, four steals and two blocks to lead Southern Fulton past Forbes Road (9-13, 3-11) in the Sideling Hill League.

Alex Seburn had 12 points, five rebounds and five steals and Nick Smartt had 11 points for the Indians (20-2, 13-1), who claimed the regular-season Sideling Hill League crown by one game over Chestnut Ridge.

Jeremiah Hoy hit four 3-pointers and scored 16 points for Faith Christian (10-12).
