Teen Idol contest auditions today

Those ages 15 to 19 are invited to audition for the Teen Idol contest today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Center Court at Valley Mall.

Teen Idol, presented by Washington County Free Library, is scheduled at The Maryland Theatre Saturday, March 24.

Sport card and collectibles show planned at mall

A sports card and collectibles show will take place this weekend at Valley Mall.

Sports cards and other keepsakes will be available for purchase throughout the mall from Friday to Sunday.



Coffee house event set

Hub City Vineyard Church, at 11000 Bower Ave. in Halfway, will host a coffee house event Saturday at 7 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Chris Schlotterbeck, pastor of Hub City.

The Livingstones, a contemporary Christian band, will perform.

Free coffee, tea, snacks and games will be offered.

The community is invited.



Easter eggs available at St. Andrew’s Church

St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, at 1020 Maryland Ave., has started making peanut butter eggs and coconut eggs.

The eggs cost 75 cents each.

Orders can be placed today through March 18.
