Morning MoJo report - Feb. 15

Here is the morning Mojo Report for Wednesday, Feb. 15:

*As of 7 a.m., traffic is sluggish on I-495 in both directions between I-95 and I-270 and on I-270 southbound. It is running smoothly, however, on I-70, I-81, and I-270 northbound in the area.

* Due to a broken rail in Brunswick Station passengers will get on all trains there from the opposite track, according to the Maryland Transit Administration website, http://mta.maryland.gov. Train 878, however, which is expected to arrive at Brunswick at 7:07 a.m., will board passengers from the normal track.

* MARC Train, Commuter Buses, local bus services, the Metro Subway system, and the Mobility service are all running on time and operating on their regular schedules, according to the MTA website.

*The expected high today is 49 degrees with possible winds between 7 and 14 miles per hour (mph), according to the National Weather Service. Tonight's expected low is 33 degrees, with a 40 percent chance of precipitation.

* Mill Street between East Baltimore Street and South Cannon Avenue is scheduled to remain closed between 7 a.m. an 6 p.m. everyday through Saturday, Feb. 25 except for Sunday, Feb. 19, according to the City of Hagerstown's website.. It is being closed for demolition work on the former Washington County Hospital Complex.

* Work to expand the intersections of Massey Boulevard and Halfway Boulevard near Hagerstown and Dual Highway and Edgewood Drive are mostly complete, but minor work still needs to be done in both areas.

* Only one lane of Md. 550 in Thurmont, Md., is open between Eylers Valley Flint Road and Kelbaugh Road due to a mudslide that occurred last April. However, it could reopen by June.
