Morning MoJo report - Feb. 13

Here is the morning Mojo Report for Monday, Feb. 13:

*As of 7 a.m., traffic is sluggish on I-495 eastbound between I-95 and I-270, on I-270 southbound, and on I-270 northbound between I-495 and Exit 1 due to an accident just north of there. It is moving smoothly on I-270 northbound after that, however, I-70 in both directions between Hancock and Baltimore, and I-81 in both directions throughout the state.

* There are currently multiple delays on the MARC Train, according to the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) website, http://mta.maryland.gov. Train 874 (5:25 a.m. Martinsburg departure) has been terminated due to mechanical issues. Train 878 ( 6:30 a.m. Martinsburg departure) is the next available train and will take passengers off Train 874.

* The Commuter Buses, local bus services, the Metro Subway system, and the Mobility service are all running on time and operating on their regular schedules, according to the MTA website.

*The expected high today is 39 degrees, and it is expected to be sunny throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service's website, forecast.weather.gov. There could also be wind between 8 and 13 miles per hour (mph). Tonight the low is 24 degrees with a slight chance of snow.

* Mill Street between East Baltimore Street and South Cannon Avenue is scheduled to remain closed between 7 a.m. an 6 p.m. each through Saturday, Feb. 25, except for Sunday, Feb. 19, according to the City of Hagerstown. It is being closed for demolition work on the former Washington County Hospital Complex.

* Work to expand the intersections of Massey Boulevard and Halfway Boulevard near Hagerstown and Dual Highway and Edgewood Drive are mostly complete, but minor work still needs to be done in both areas.

* Only one lane of Md. 550 in Thurmont, Md., is open between Eylers Valley Flint Road and Kelbaugh Road due to a mudslide that occurred last April. However, it could reopen by June.
