Cascade man charged with inappropriately touching three girls

February 06, 2012

A Cascade man was being held on $50,000 bond on allegations that he inappropriately touched three girls at his home last year.

Russell Brent Evans, 48, is charged in three separate cases involving three girls, who stayed overnight at his Cushman Avenue home, according to the application for statement of charges filed by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. The girls told investigators the incident took place in March or April, the document said.

One of the victims told investigators that Evans touched her breasts when she and Evans were sleeping in the same bed, the charging document said. Another girl told investigators that Evans touched her buttocks, and the third girl said Evans offered to perform oral sex, the document said.

Evans is charged with two counts each of third-degree sex offense, fourth-degree sex offense and second-degree assault, and one count of perverted practices.

Washington County District Judge Dana Moylan Wright maintained bond for Evans at $50,000 and set a preliminary hearing on the charges for April 12.
