Mail Call - Feb. 3

February 03, 2012

“Let’s talk about the caller from Williamsport’s view on President Obama and what he has done in the past three years. Who do you think gave the declaration to Panetta to take out Osama bin Laden, and the night of the State of the Union, to rescue those two hostages held in Somalia for three months? Did you give those declarations, or did Mickey Mouse? Of course not. It was our great president. You need to wake up. I would be ashamed to be so out of touch.”

— Hagerstown

“This is on the president’s State of the Union address. Everybody needs to do their fair share. When are the politicians going to do their fair share? They’re making millions of dollars a year. Why don’t they take a $20,000 pay cut, or something like that? The Congress and senators, they’re the ones who pass all these stupid rules. And as far as free market, free enterprise doesn’t work. You have to have regulations on these companies, for the simple reason of what the free market’s doing to us now. They sell everything to the highest bidder, and the poor man takes a beating.”

— Hagerstown

“Pertaining to the State of the Union address, I hear everything about the middle class and the rich. What about the people who only make about $30,000 a year, what benefit is it for them? They always talk about the middle class and the rich. No benefits for the man that only makes $30,000 a year? Would somebody please tell me something?”
