Morning MoJo Report - Feb. 1

Here is the morning MoJo Report for Wednesday, Feb. 1:

*As of 7 a.m., traffic is a little sluggish on I-495 in both directions between I-95 and I-270 and on I-270 southbound. It is moving smoothly on I-270 northbound, I-70 in both directions between Hancock and Baltimore, and I-81 in both directions throughout the state.

* The Light Rail, the MARC Train, Commuter Buses, local bus services, the Metro Subway system, and the Mobility service are all running on time and operating on their regular schedules, according to the Maryland Transit Administration website, http://mta.maryland.gov.

*The high today is 66 degrees, and there is a chance of isolated showers before 10 a.m. today, according to the National Weather Service's website, forecast.weather.gov. There could also be wind between 7 and 16 miles per hour (mph) with gusts as high as 26 mph. 

* Work to expand the intersections of Massey Boulevard and Halfway Boulevard near Hagerstown and Dual Highway and Edgewood Drive are mostly complete, but minor work still needs to be done in the area.

* Only one lane of Md. 550 in Thurmont, Md., is open between Eylers Valley Flint Road and Kelbaugh Road due to a mudslide that occurred last April. However, it could reopen by June.
