TOPS Chapter 0077 takes items to shelter

TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 0077 of First Christian Church in Hagerstown recently donated more than 100 blankets and towels to the Humane Society of Washington County.

Leaders Patsy Price and Patsy Martin organized the event. Barb Trumpower dropped off the items to the animal shelter. 

“We love animals and wanted to do something that will help keep the animals warm and snug this season,” Trumpower said.

All members of the group participated in the collection drive.

“We appreciate this kind donation,” said Paul Miller, the shelter’s executive director.
