WILLIAMSPORT, Md. — The following are the results for Washington County Public Schools students from Saturday’s Elks Club Hoop Shoot at Williamsport High School:

Boys

Ages 8-9
Champion — Braden Kolb, Potomac Heights Elementary School
Runner-up — Colby Knight, Maugansville Elementary School

Ages 10-11
Champion — Chris Martin, Eastern Elementary School
Runner-up — Brock Penn, Boonsboro Middle School

Ages 12-13
Champion — Chandler Penn, Boonsboro Middle School
Runner-up — Jeff Wetzel, Western Heights Middle School

Girls

Ages 8-9
Champion — Hannah Ziler, Hancock Elementary School
Runner-up — Camille Zinaich, Greenbrier Elementary School

Ages 10-11
Champion — Mikayla Miller, Greenbrier Elementary School
Runner-up — Julie Koterwas, Smithsburg Elementary School

Ages 12-13
Champion — Erica Lindsay, Smithsburg Middle School
Runner-up — Allyson Sikes, Boonsboro Middle School


The event featured 110 boys and girls from 22 elementary schools and six middle schools.

Age-group winners and runners-up received a trophy sponsored by Elks Lodge 378. Each individual school champion received a participation T-shirt.
